Ergonomic height-adjustable computer desks

AME Systems' activDesk series of ergonomic electric height-adjustable computer desks and workstations highlight an elite ergonomic design that allows the body to be in the most optimal biomechanical position at all times.

Height adjustment is achieved electronically.

Prolonged sitting or standing can lead to varying degrees of back pain and may also aggravate existing conditions. These work related injuries are becoming much more prevalent and exacerbated by traditional desks and chairs.

Height adjustment is achieved electronically via the push of a button controlling the smooth and quiet electric actuators. This allows the user to adjust the configuration of the desk according to their personal physical requirements for both sitting and standing.

Being able to alternate between sitting and standing is important - when standing, the pressure on the intervertebral discs is fairly low, much lower than sitting unsupported.

Static muscle fatigue is relieved through muscle movement. Movement is important to keep the spine healthy, improve circulation and reduce muscle fatigue.

All the ergonomic desks in the series feature electric height adjustment, ergonomic curved crescent shaped work surfaces, intelligent positioning of power points and a smart cable management system.
