Multipurpose materials handling machine
M.E.Y. Equipment has released a multipurpose materials handling machine capable of moving soil, rubble, pavers and rolls of turf in confined spaces. It is 700mm wide with a capacity of 170L or 250kg.
It is a highly manoeuvrable, self-propelled machine able to fit through standard doorways and narrow access areas on small house blocks. It is suitable for the gardening, landscaping and building industries. Its powerdrive four wheel drive system allows it to climb steps.
It can be fitted with a bucket to prepare concrete or remove rubble, a flat bed to transport pavers and rolls of turf, and a gripper for bricks and limestone blocks. It can also be fitted with a tow hitch to move caravans or boats.
It uses a GCV160 Honda four-stroke engine with four forward and one reverse gear. The 5.5 hp OHC engine can propel the Muck Truck at up to 5.6km/h.
It can be serviced by any Honda dealer across the country. Honda has a network of workshops that can do engine warranty work and servicing.
They carry the necessary engine spares and can change drive belts and fix punctures. The Muck Truck can be rented from selected Kennards Hire outlets.
