Combined laboratory testing workstation
JOHN Morris Scientific has released the MAN-TECH PC-TITRATIONPLUS Laboratory.

PC-TITRATIONPLUS System with TitraSip, Burivar I/2, TitraDose, and 223 Autosampler.
This system is a combined pH, conductivity, ion analysis and titration workstation, with the capability for automated analysis of up to179 samples.
PC-TITRATIONPLUS consolidates several workstations with automated sample analysis, leading to cost and turnaround time reductions for applications in the inorganic analytical and environmental laboratory compared with traditional testing techniques.
Consolidated inorganic wet chemistry methods include pH, conductivity, alkalinity, fluoride, ammonia, phosphate, chloride, sulphate, sulphite, cyanide, nitrate, hardness and silica.
Analyses can be grouped using the PC-TITRATIONPLUS, creating "economy of scale" savings.
In pH, conductivity, alkalinity, fluoride and chloride analyses, for example, nine parameters (i.e. automatic alkalinity speciation) are represented. Since 179 samples may be analysed, a total of 1611 parameters are determined in one run. The cost for the complete analysis is only marginally greater than the cost to complete total alkalinity alone.
The PC-TITRATIONPLUS enables one set of results from one instrument to be transferred to the laboratory information management system (LIMS).
The system takes up minimal bench space, is low maintenance and minimises capital expenditure. Also, the large capacity auto sampler allows for significant, unattended analysis runs overnight.
