Pick and place palletising robot

A NEW pick and place palletising robot has been introduced into the Australasian market by the Webb Food And Beverage division of Webb Conveyor.

The Robogo pick and place robot was specifically designed as a palletising and case packing robot and its small footprint and operating space means it can be incorporated in new or existing lines where floor space is major factor to consider.

The versatility of the robot lends itself to many applications in the packaging areas where pick and place functions are required.

The Robogo has been produced with a unique patented action mechanism. Contrary to conventional robot system, its actions are not arranged consecutively, where one movement engages the drive of the next, but in parallel to each other.

In this way the total weight of the moving parts is kept to a minimum, thus optimising the capacity left for tools or products.

Three identical, linear drive units are installed to a fixed column and move independently from each other. The coordination of the robot arm within the robot range is software controlled.

The Robogo control package incorporates a touch screen panel and Windows 2000 based software which provides user friendly options and powerful reporting functions.

The software allows ease of programming and all machines have modem connections for remote applications.

The Robogo is also designed for very low maintenance, no lubrication is required and a once yearly maintenance is all that is recommended by the manufacturer.
