Modular vacuum pump
PIAB has released the P3010 AVM, a compact and modular vacuum pump with integrated COAX technology and automatic vacuum management.
It consists of easily changed vacuum cartridges, flow through silencers, two vacuum switches with fixed settings at -30kPa, -50kPa or -70kpa and an on/off control valve. It also has a blow-off control valve, blow off adjustment rate/power control, LED status indicators and a push button that activates its air saving function.
It is designed for handling parts in applications with the highest demand on performance, availability, energy saving, flexibility and reliability. These include automated systems with industrial robots and machines used for handling sheet metal, plastic parts and corrugated cardboard material.
The modular, in-line design simplifies installation and maintenance. COAX technology guarantees energy efficient and reliable vacuum performance even at low feed pressures. It still offers 40% faster response and three times more vacuum flow than conventional ejectors. The flow-through silencers mean no periodic maintenance is required.
